Happy Birthday To Me!

Oh Boy!  Friday, as you know, was my 30th Wedding Anniversary (And Jim's too) and then on Saturday I had my 61st Birthday.  Yahoo!!  So anyway, while I was driving up to Bowie on Thursday, Jim and I started talking about how much I needed a new car...and holy smokes, before the day was over, he had called the Ford guy and made a deal for us to get me a 2010 Ford Focus!  Wow...how exciting.  So on Friday, I drove to Weatherford from Bowie and checked out the car. It was AWESOME.  The color is called White Suede and it has leather trim on the interior and it is so pretty.  The inside is kind of a gold and honey...and wow, does it have a lot of extras!  Actually, it is the standard SE model, which is what I bought back in 2002, but by 2010 they had added a LOT of fancy stuff.  It tells the outside temperature, it syncs to my cell phone and I can make and receive phone calls without have to use my cell phone...the controls to the cruise AND the radio are on the steering wheel...man....what will they think of next (I know - heated seats....that what Jim has in his Pick up...)  Anyway, I am not telling everyone yet about the car...so.....shhhhhhh....it's still a secret.  Here is a picture of it.  I don't get it until Wednesday and the salesman from Weatherford is going to meet me in Stephenville - 1/2 way for each of us...Hurry Up Wednesday!
